Hi,
I have been using the attached fetchmailrc to retrieve multi-drop
with fetchmail-5.8.5 successfully. Since upgrading to fetchmail-5.8.6
all retrieved mail is being delivered to the postmaster mailbox.
The only observation I can make this that the mis-delivered mail has
multiple Received headers (the first having a valid recipient address)
but the messages are being flagged as not matching a local name.
I've read the FAQ section on multi-drop handling and can't see any
measures in there that will remedy the problem. Adding no envelope is
not an option because this will break delivery of mailing list content
(which, despite Eric's warnings, I've never had a problem with).
Has some subtle change been made to the multi-drop handling between
these two versions of fetchmail that might account for this situation?
