Tom Goulet <tomg(_at_)nova(_dot_)yi(_dot_)org>:
My MTA is rejecting messages delivered by fetchmail. Fetchmail is
deleting the upstream message anyways.
I see your problem. The
fetchmail: forwarding to nova.yi.org
fetchmail: SMTP> MAIL FROM:<tomg(_at_)(_dot_)> SIZE=528
fetchmail: SMTP< 501 <tomg(_at_)(_dot_)>: domain missing or malformed
fetchmail: SMTP> RSET
fetchmail: SMTP< 250 Reset OK
fetchmail: IMAP< )
fetchmail: IMAP< A0006 OK FETCH completed.
fetchmail: message tomg(_at_)hostscache(_dot_)com@mail.factcomp.com:1 was not
the expected length (283 actual != 528 expected)
flushed
fetchmail: IMAP> A0007 STORE 1 +FLAGS (\Seen \Deleted)
fetchmail: IMAP< * 1 FETCH (FLAGS (\Seen \Deleted \Recent))
fetchmail: IMAP< A0007 OK STORE completed.
fetchmail: IMAP> A0008 EXPUNGE
What's happening is that fetchmail is interpreting the 501 response as a
spam block. It's doing exactly what it's supposed to. You need to fix
your config so it doesn't generate bogus MAIL FROM: lines.

Gun Control: The theory that a woman found dead in an alley, raped and
strangled with her panty hose, is somehow morally superior to a
woman explaining to police how her attacker got that fatal bullet wound.
