Currently I can view my password (which is in my .fetchmailrc file), I
want to encrypt it, and send it to check my pop3 e-mail. CAn someone give
me some assistance?

What's the problem with the plaintext password in .fetchmailrc? Only
the owner and root can read the file. And as far as sending the
password plaintext over the POP3 wire is concerened: Yes, that's a
problem. Don't use POP3 in this case, but a secure alternative. No,
not many public mailservers support this.
