[fetchmail]fetchmail + Outlook

Hi,

I am able to retrieve mails from the remote server using fetchmail, but I am
unable to download it on Microsoft Outlook on a clients pc.

1. I have given the internal ip of the linux gateway (running fetchmail) in
the pop setting in Outlook (ie. 172.16.0.1) .

2. Whenever outlook starts synchronizing, it asks for the username and
passoword. Doesn't accept it although it is right.

Can anyone help me.
