6.2.5 predates the maintainership handover by about eight months (note the
date on the top of the old web page), and our repeated requests to ESR to
change his web page have been nearly ignored. In November he briefly
reappeared and said he could redirect the old page to the new one
(http://fetchmail.berlios.de/, for anyone who missed it), but that never
happened.
Oddly, he also claimed in September 2004 to have regained control of the
old mailing lists, but then in the November message said that he never
had.
