No - I don't think so.  The only reason for the trace is to:
  1) Define the CURRENT as opposed to the original body part types
  2) Indicate the transformations (and thus potential loss) which has
    occurred

There is no reason for the receiver to try to reverse the translations.
Usually, a translation should be on the basis of receiver capabilities.
