I'd rather delete and just refer to ANSI X3.64-1986 on the same
grounds that you don't replicate the RFC-822 BNF here -- namely
potential accidental undiscovered error or confusion. Since we
really do mean ANSI X3.4-1986 let's just incorporate it by reference.
Hmmm... I'm not an expert, but I believe this whole mess was
incorporated, many many drafts ago, precisely because this is NOT what
we meant. Perhaps John, who I think was one of the initial advocates of
this overkill-definition-of-ASCII, can comment further?
