I don't think it is a good idea for binary data to be mixed with non-binary
data without some form of encapsulation and checksumming markers in the binary
data.  In fact, every nerve of my body tied to an understanding of
`robustness' and `interoperability' screams protest against such an idea.

Once such exists, this eliminates the need for the extra CRLF, which is at
best a band-aid for the real problem.  I oppose it.

Actually, I believe that the people who think they want direct binary mail are
mistaken, and will eventually discover that they are mistaken.
