said: header "FOO" is bogus and you should neither generate it nor use it.

Well that's not what I set out to do, and I don't plan to embrace a kind of "negative registration" mode.

But I'll ask: would not the existence of a registry of approved headers make the pollutants more conspicuous by their absence from the registry?
