No, it doesn't need to be looked into. A future document is welcome
to put a restriction on local-part in order to internationalize it.
That will still leave these new international local-parts legal in
the old system. That's fine.
The IETF documents current practice. We don't predict the future.
Certainly not in Draft Standards. If you don't understand this, see
RFC 2026.
