Didn't see any length recommendations for Message-ID, in RFC2821.
What do folks suggest for the largest maximum size of the left-hand
field of a message-id (id-left)?
Son-of-1036 defines a maximum message identifier length of 250 characters
for the entire ID, including the domain element and angled-brackets.
RFC 2822 prohibits folding in the message identifier header field, so the
maximum length of the header field value is 986 characters (998 characters
minus 12 characters for the Message-ID header field name and the
separating Colon and Space characters).
Subtract the minimum and maximum domain lengths from 986 to produce the
minimum and maximum theoretical length of the left-hand side.
