You're right. But I took a look at the DCC checksum. It's
very easy to fool. Add a few words here or there in the body and
DCC is toast. However, that doesn't mean DCC is useless; on the
contrary, it's extremely valuable to catch the spammers who don't
evade it.
Adding a clearing-house for bounced messages is simply one more indicator.
You can integrate it into your SpamAssassin rule set with a score that
makes you comfortable, just as right now SpamAssassin can use DCC, Razor,
etc.
