Also, I don't see how this helps at all on a net where there are
hundreds of thousands of open relays, all of which we assume
would have
valid designated-sender records and hence be allowed to relay spam to
you.
I cover this as a Security Consideration in the draft.
Let's see, a site running an open relay participating in DS Protocol. That
doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Sites choosing to use DS are likely well
aware of the spam problem and have already secured their systems against
relay theft.
