I know because, unfortunately, the intial setup of all three
of those allows at least a spammer to ASK you if you want to be talked
to. I got a LOT of those for porn SPAM until I found the right settings.
So, there is:
a working example of,
a ONE HUNDRED PERCENT EFFICIENT,
current,
in production,
in the real world,
permission based system,
That blocks SPAM.
Permission-Based Systems running on top of email have been widely
rejected for many years now for several issues including resources and
time. There are still a few ISPs that use them, but only a very small
percentage...they're troublesome, waste a ton of bandwidth, and waste a
lot of time.
But the design is perfect, because it requires both an ACK from the
sender and an approval from the recipient...I for one would rather
receive spams than have to deal with this myself, and I'm a savvy
person..think of all the grandma's out there who wouldn't be able to use
email because they couldn't figure the system out.
