Were you trying port 25 or port 587?  I've occasionally heard of 587
being blocked, but I've never heard of it being spoofed.


I was using port 587, as I always do. :) The first Received: header
was awfully ugly:

Received: from support.isp.com (mcdonalds.isp.com [xxx.xxx.xx.x] (may
be forged))
