[Asrg] Re: the endless DNSBL and/or NAT argument

2007-03-03 14:41:39
The key problem is that an ENTIRE COMPANY can be put out of business
for DAYS by ONE IP address getting blocked, and as the company gets
more dependent on E-mail and gets more computers, the statistical
likelihood that some day one of them will get infected gets higher
and higher.

My company plugs all of its equipment into one outlet using lots of
extension cords, because that's what was on the wall when we moved
into the office. As the company gets more dependent on electrical
equipment, the fuse keeps blowing and leaves us in the dark.

It is very, VERY important that our power be on, although of course
not important enough to hire an electrician to wire the place
properly, so I blame everything on the unfair and arbitrary fuse
makers.
