Re: [ietf-dkim] DKIM charter update proposal

Is the goal of a spec, the writing of the spec itself, or to tackle a higher
goal?

Are we forgetting the original objectives of DKIM, which was to reduce spam?

I hear a lot about what DKIM is not, fair enough. I hear a lot that DKIM is a
tool and not a magic solution, fair enough too. But if we cannot show DKIM
helps alleviating spam, then we better use everyone computing cycles for
something useful instead.

Seems to me something is missing: gather data to establish if DKIM

What would that prove, or disprove?
