Subject: Re: [ietf-dkim] Output summary - Keep your Eye on the Prize!
Therefore, since we don't know, we discourage usage, exploration.
Actually the current text specifically enables exploration. This is important,
because:
1) Empirical Fact!
We know SDID is showing a very low payoff and very useless utility
with a majority of DKIM mail coming from unknown signers and spammers
Our data support the opposite conclusion; finding patterns in the data
accumulated so far is proving to be rather useful, even though spammers are
embracing DKIM and the AUID and RFC5322.From are not considered.
So I don't know who "we" is, but it doesn't include me.
2) Current Implementations API Fact!
We know ODID is used for ADSP lookups, optionally or not.
I don't know what the "or not" means here. ADSP only uses RFC5322.From, but
ADSP itself is entirely optional.
