an implementation design issue. I think it's safe. If the DKIM
protocol says I can't do something like this, then I think we have a
problem with the current "describe it and let implementors deal with it"

It's definitely not proscribed by DKIM. All I meant was that you're
preventing a signer from deliberately accepting responsibility for a
message thus modified (by doing only one "from" in "h="), knowing the
risks of doing so.
