Do folks have any issues to discuss about the DKIM draft specifications?
As I mentioned at the email authentication summit, I have quickly read
the drafts. However, due to fun with airlines, I just returned home
about an hour ago. I *do* have comments on the drafts, and I will try
to make a list as soon as I can.
One example, is the language about the new DNS RR types probably won't
be accepted by the folks on namedroppers, and I can give some
suggestions about what will be more likely to be accepted. I suspect
that the tree-walking in the current draft will also be very unpopular
with the DNS folks. SPF removed the zone-cut idea in part because of
this opposition, and the CSV's tree-walk wasn't any better accepted.
