Please use this thread for discussing the particulars of any possible non-DNS
key server mechanism.
The current dkim specification provides a message signature header field
parameter for stating what key server technology applies to this signature.
The current specification mandates that the initial mechanism be the DNS and
that everyone must support it.
If there are immediate functional requirements that that mechanism does not
satisfy, then folks need to list them and gain rough consensus about them.
If the the extensibility of that parameter is not sufficient for adding
alternate key server mechanisms later, then folks need to explain how and gain
rough consensus on this and need to specify what enhancement to the base
document is needed.
