It's two queries, but you usually need only to make one of them.

The "IP+domain" thing confused me. It is, if I'm not still confused,
just a shorthand way of saying $REV-ADDRESS.$ADDRESS-TYPE._smtp-client.$FQDN
(And, I can see the need for an abbreviation.)
