This the only dissenting voice I've heard.   I'll take that to mean the
consensus of the group is to proceed as I've outlined.

Lutz seems to be doing fine.

Jon, Lutz and Rod will collaborate on a new draft that will combine
the work they have individually done.  That will be the basis for
the review by the group.

Sounds reasonable.

However, there is existing material that is relevant.  And Jon is in
the best position to combine it all together.  So that is what needs
to happen now.  And as soon as possible.

Anything to expedite a OpenPGP version with minimal political
arguments.  The quicker OpenPGP happens the better.  KISS as Tim May
said, and lets see a finalised draft ASAP.

I think Jon is off work until next Tuesday, so I'd suggest letting Lutz 
get on with it.  Might be finished by the time he gets back, at the rate
Lutz is going :-)
