Yeah. As far as I know, the patent of RSA is not issued in any Asian
countries.

If RSA algo is excluded from OpenPGP, OpenPGP users have big problem
not only they have to abandon lots of keys but also they can't handle
to verify and to decrypt lots of old pgped files.

Even if RFC definition exclude RSA algo from OpenPGP, new OpenPGP
based software maybe have RSA algo for compatibility.

It sounds just "double-standards" for me. One is for IETF RFC and
another is for real-software.

I understand that the patent of RSA algo bugs lots of people in US,
but PGP already use RSA for log time and there is no patent problem in
outside of US. To exulude RSA algo is too painful, small gain.
