I tend to disagree.  For instance, code signing with
OpenPGP certainly has no use for the PGP/MIME framework.
Additionally, PGP/MIME is essentially just about MIME
encapsulation of PGP messages, so a test suite for this
could be quite restricted, and would mostly have to handle
MIME encoding issues and pitfalls, plus some playing
around with micalg parameters and their effect.
