I'm just tired of hearing variations of "PIPELINING is hard to implement".
it's a different problem, I think. PIPELINING isn't an end-to-end service,
so implementing just the server half of PIPELINING is perfectly reasonable.
OTOH, the carraige of SOLICIT wants to be an end-to-end service.
