To everyone!

Do you know of anyone that noticed it as it was beginning to happen?...
In the 1980's? Or in the 1990's?

I noted some of it some time in the 1990's when I began presenting a story about a series of paradigm shifts that followed development and growth of our beloved Internet.

Computers > Networks (with central control) > Internets (without central control).
But, I was not focused entirely on control, or on its impacts on trust.

But what was really happening in terms of the loss of trust was not clearly articulated until the Third Millennium.

Ed and I have been discussing these ideas together since 1997.
They are clearly not yet fully articulated as we continue to find new aspects.

In the late 90's there were a lot of people around the world discussing trust with Ed in his MCG discussion list, without fully connecting it with the Internet Control phenomena we are discussing here. See <http:/www.mcg.org..br>.

Cheers...\Stef
