Indeed. Yesterday my wife's purse was picked, at the Eiffel Tower train
station, lightening our load of cash and several credit cards.
And my wife's purse was stolen while she dined at an outdoor restaurant
about a block from the hotel. We spent a lovely two hours at the 17th
Arrodissement police station filing a report....
