Try it. With both Firefox (1.0.6) and MSIE (6.0.2600), I get a hostname
mismatch warning when replacing the hostname in an https: URL with its
IP address, because the IP address is not what is specified in the certificate.
However, I also use the Petname toolbar
<http://www.waterken.com/user/PetnameTool/>,
which tells me that the site is in fact the expected one.
