The hotel has X meeting rooms, and X is known when the location is
announced. If N*M/X<=4 and the increased density doesn't lead to more
problems than Friday does, then Friday is unnecessary for that
particular meeting.
Right now, the agenda is based on the chairs' perceptions of conflicts.
It could be based on registrants' wishes, instead, which I think will
permit a higher degree of parallelism without an increase in conflicts.
That is, when you register, you click which WGs you really want to
attend and which ones are also interesting, and the agenda is computed
from that.
