Good point. For example, BSD socket API makes it clear that TCP packet
boundaries are not visible to the application. If it was not so, some
TCP implementations could expose those boundaries to the applications.
Those, in turn, could use it to drive the business logic. Such
applications would then break if a middlebox re-segmented the data.
