I don't want anybody to be misled by this statement. I think what Lorenzo
meant to say is that Mac OS X 10.6.4 and earlier doesn't implement the policy
table in I-D.ietf-6man-rfc3484-revise, which prefers IPv4 source addresses
over 2002::/16 IPv6 source addresses.
Mac OS X has *never* used 6to4 by default. The scenario Lorenzo is talking
about is where a router is advertising a 6to4 prefix onto a native IPv6 link.
On those links, Mac OS X 10.6.4 and earlier will treat 6to4 prefixes
equivalently to any other IPv6 prefix when making address selection decisions.
thanks for clearing that up. I was pretty sure it wasn't true, but you saved
me the trouble of reinstalling 10.6.4 to prove it.
