Hello,
The IANA IPv4/IPv6 Address Space registries currently have the following
status: RESERVED, LEGACY, ALLOCATED and UNALLOCATED. Is IANA marking the
192.88.99.0/24 prefix and 2002::/16 prefix as "deprecated" or is it using an
existing status?
BCP 153 lists 192.88.99.0/24 as allocated. The IANA registry lists it as
"reserved".
The assumption (vis--a-vis the discussion in the wg on a or lack of sunset
period (and there's a longish port of the thread on this)) is that the prefixs
would remain in use for the for the forseeable future. there would therefore be
no change required to the status of the prefixes.
According to the Writeup:
"This draft represents the intersection of those views -
rough consensus in the best possible meaning of the phrase."
Will the IESG be using the following text:
"It has been approved for publication by the Internet
Engineering Steering Group (IESG)."
for the second paragraph of the "Status of This Memo"?
