This is why ULAs are useful. People just need to get used to the fact
that IPv6 addresses derived from ISPs will change from time to time,
and that you will have several of them. This is not your grandfather's
TCP/IP.

This is also why we have the MIF, HOMENET and 6RENUM WGs.


As long as the current IPv4 characteristics are not transparently
available with IPv6, it will probably deter adoption of IPv6 for
the installed base.

I certainly feel fine with IPv4, and would probably feel
more comfortable with IPv4 behind CGN than with what is
currently available as IPv6.
