And this removal of dead drafts has been a problem too. There were cases
where code points were assigned but the drafts never made it to RFC
status. While that made the code points officially obsolete, it would
have been useful to be able to find what they originally meant, for
(historic) documentation purposes as well as making sure they weren't
actually still in use, which gets a lot harder if you don't even know
*what* use.
