Let me just say that I forgot my backpack with laptop in the shuttle bus
from DFW to the Hotel, and the driver called me FIVE hours later (because
I had my number on a card attached to my backpack) and returned it. So
there are plenty of honest people in the US as well.
I tried calling the shuttle bus company immediately after this happened,
but they wouldn't even call the driver (even though I found out what
shuttle # I had been in).
