Re the Conrad. There appear to be no rooms available for Friday night at the
end of the week at the IETF rate, but you can book a shorter period. When you
enter your dates, check the flexible dates box to get an idea of what's
available.
I was able to book a Friday room of the same class at a 50% premium to the IETF
rate by using the normal Hilton website. Not perfect, but usable.
