My mistake, Earl. I only installed namazu2 via apt-get. I installed
mharc from source using the instructions you referenced.

It is possible that Debian has split out the namazu software in
multiple packages, so just getting namazu2 may not get you everything.

That is correct, Debian does just that. However, I installed the
namazu2-tools package as well and it satisfied the requiredments.

When you run the installation program for mharc, take careful look
at any messages that may indicate that required software may
be missing.

This is what I see:

Looking for 'tar' program... '/bin/tar'
Looking for 'cp' program... '/bin/cp'
Looking for 'mkdir' program... '/bin/mkdir'

Would you like to edit "lib/config.sh" with "vi"? ['y'] n
You are using MHonArc v2.6.15
 -----------------------------------------------------------------------
| Please read the mharc installation document to finish the installation
| process. A copy is located at:
| /usr/local/mharc-0.7.3/doc/install.html
 -----------------------------------------------------------------------

All of that looks fine.

My lib/config.sh is fairly simple at this point:
SW_ROOT=/usr/local/mharc-0.7.3
MHONARC_LIB=/usr/share/mhonarc

ORGMAIL is commented out, as we do not use mail spools.
IS_MAIL_SPOOL=0

ROOT_URL=<set to an internal intranet address https://...>

Everything else was left as the default.

I've left lists.def very simple for now, adding only list to it.

So where is the output? How do I get a Search field on all my archive
pages that mhonarc is producing?

Thanks
Bill
