The problem I had below was easily fixed
with the help of Achim. I used an updated
version of perl, and the program worked
fine.
My next question is how to set up Marc-Search.
If anyone has any suggestions for me, please
contact me. I believe most of the problem is that
I'm not exactly sure what information I'm supposed
to include in the configuration files. Here's what
I've been doing so far, which has been giving me
the dreaded SERVER ERROR:
## Configurable options
my $server = 'http://www.uwm.edu/~mwilson/nativelit/maillist.html';
my $help = $server . '/~mwilson/www/nativelit/marc-search.html';
my $doc_root = '/usr/doc';
my $script = $server . '/cgi-bin/mwilson/marc-search.cgi';
my $cgilib = '/cgi-bin/mwilson/cgi-lib.pl';
I'm not sure if the cgi-bin.pl in my cgi-holder is the right one. I
pulled it down intact and chmod'ed it. I'm also not sure where
to point the doc_root. What kind of docs is this program looking
for?
Thanks. All comments are greatly appreciated.
Michael
