I had to decide the perl5 issue when beginning work on Majordomo 2. For
what Majordomo needs, perl4 is simply a hindrance. We needed real MIME
parsing and the choices were either to roll our own, try to use what's in
MHonArc, or "use MIME::Parser". Guess which one I chose?
People who refuse to install another perl version would probably be
reticent to install a new MHonArc version. It's not as if multiple perls
can't coexist.
