I have assembled a patch for MHonArc 2.5.0b2. There is an increasing
demand to handle Japanese HTML messages correctly,
I totally agree with you about this, but I have a question.
Which problems of MHonArc (not Wilma) will be solved with
this patch?
Instead of answering your question, I would like to ask you a question.
What should be the correct "charset" parameter of HTML files generated
by MHonArc?

Sorry but I don't understand what you mean.
More precisely, I don't understand the relation between my
question and yours.
In fact, what I'm talking about is NOT the charset of HTML
messages but how treat (process) multi-byte characters in
MHonArc.

Your sentence which I cited above gave me the impression
that your patch fixes some MHonArc's problem (though I don't
think so).
I just want to know about it, and this part of my previous
mail isn't intended to oppose converting to EUC(-JP).

BTW, if I answer your question, it would be `AS YOU LIKE IT.'
I thought no RFCs (nor any other conventions) say anything
about charset which we should use, right?
