I still think there is some confusion.
It's the *thread* index page you are struggling with, right? It should
be noted that neither SUBJECTBEGIN nor SUBJECTEND has anything to do
with the layout of the thread index page according to the documentation.
In other words, the subject.mrc example was not the correct starting
point in the first place.
Off now to test against the full 12000-message archive. :-)
To be a happy MHonArc user, I believe you'd better take the time to
review the docs for *all* the resources, and decide for each one of them
if the default is ok or if you want to change its behavior.
