Until this is standard in nmh, you might want to check out my 'medit' Perl
script.  It's an emulation of a C program called medit that was written by a 
guy named Jim Hester at UCI in 1986.  I didn't know where the source to that 
program was after leaving UCI, so I wrote this script.

It's evolved since I originally wrote it and now does extra niceties like
automatically signing your From: address on 'repl's depending on which
address was used on the To: or Cc: lines and automatically "dereferencing"
mail aliases before sending the draft to your editor (so you don't have to
wait until send-time to see whether you've made a mistake).

I've just started to roll some PGP functionality into the program, but it's
quite primitive at the moment, as I don't currently use PGP on a daily
basis.
