Well, the list was apparently broken for awhile there (confirmed by Doug in
private email). It would appear the posts sent to the list during that time
went to the bit-bucket, unless Doug has them squirreled away somewhere and
is planning to manually resend them.
I have some other stuff to post about, but I'll wait to see if this post
actually makes it.
Well, it made it (at least I got *my* copy). Given this outage and the
apparent loss of messages posted during it, it would seem we should consider
also moving the mailing list to Savannah, assuming they offer this service.
I tried to determine from the Savannah docs if they do offer that, but I
wasn't able to easily tell -- the docs (esp. the User Docs) are pretty
badly-written (obviously by non-native speakers of English).
I just hope the quality of the documentation on Savannah doesn't reflect the
overall quality of the site.
