I just tried that here, and it works for me.  Looking at the code, it may
not work if you use private sequences.

Yes. I use private sequences. My .mh_profile has:

#: All sequences are private, i.e. recorded in context
mh-sequences:

So, I guess our dialog constitutes a bug report.
