You're right, I didn't try building nmh-1.7 via OpenBSD ports. I just
updated the Makefile in ports to build nmh-1.7 and indeed it does now
have the double nmh directory:
OpenBSD ports has had nmh-1.7 for a few days now. It adjusted SYSCONFDIR
accordingly (from ${PREFIX}/lib/nmh to ${PREFIX}/lib).
