Let me make a public comment on this (as one of the guardians of the RFC 1274
mechanism).
First, it is unlikely that RFC 1274 will be updated as is. The next version
will be several documents. We will be moving to a more distributed means
of schema control, much more akin to the way the MIBs are handled.
Second, I think that definition of Internet security extension attributes
is a key and probably somewhat contentious area. I think that it would be
a mistake to fold it into a general purpose document. I'd encourage you to
write up this information as an Internet Draft.
I'd be happy for you (or someone else from the PEM group) to present this
at the OSI-DS WG at IETF in Amsterdam. I assume that it should also be
discussed in detail in the PEM WG.
