Your first message on the poll results suggests about a dozen
responses. That hardly constitutes much of a sample. While it is
true that "An even 75% of respondents want PEM to enhance privacy
most" this statement may not be very representative of the PEM
community. I didn't respond because I'm not much for opinion polls
conducted this way. The size of the pem-dev list is considerably
greater than your response set. This suggests that many pem-dev list
members, for one reason or another, also didn't care to participate in
the poll. The set of people who attend PEM WG meetings is about 3
times larger than your response set, and those folks at least invest
in attending the IETF meetings. The set of potential PEM users is,
hopefully, even greater. So, let's not interpret the poll results as
being representative of any of these constituencies, market groups,
etc.
