Ken, I'll point out that I did not call you either stupid or a liar.
However, you did ask why someone would assume such, so I explained.
The RFCs on PEM may be large and sometimes confusing, but this particular
area is addressed in quite plain language. By asking such simple questions
and using terminology from PGP, you at the very least have given the
strong impression than you have not actually read the material, or have
skimmed it only very lightly.
Since PEM-DEV is not primarily oriented towards education, some members
become understandably testy when someone comes in an expects them to
bring him up to speed. This may be irritating to you, and may be a
piece of evidence that a more casual PEM discussion list would be useful,
but those are separate issues.
