(I hope I didn't miss anything out). I suspect that a traditional DN
would serve you better.
My proposal in no way implies that traditional DN's are to be thrown out:
just that if a traditional DN is unsuitable for any reason, or the e-mail
address is required to be embedded, my proposal comes into play. 99% of
the time DNS names are perfectly good, albeit terse, identifiers. The
few cases such as Peter's are handled with cleaner traditional DN's.
